About us

Integrated Empowerment For Sustainable Development is a non-governmental humanitarian and development organization that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of vulnerability. We save the lives of children and their families. We are there for them before and after hazard hit. We enable people to become self-reliant and participate in community development, see their children grow up strong, and for the whole community to prosper. We constantly search for more effective solutions, while sharing our knowledge and expertise with the communities. We push for long-term change. Integrated Empowerment For Sustainable Development was founded in Buea- Cameroon in April 2021 and has a mission to promote empowerment for the vulnerable to become self-reliant and participate in community development. The resulting organizational move revolutionized how development professionals respond to crises and interact with key actors, institutions, and agencies. IESDEV founding took this development even further. While striving to solve problems, build resilient local economies, and improve the quality of life for their families and communities. Integrated Empowerment For Sustainable Development was established specifically to protect, advocate, and build sustainable futures for vulnerable and other displacement-affected people and communities, leading the way in defining the terrain, developing appropriate strategies, conducting vital field research, and delivering self-reliance programs.
